John Munro, 77, retired rancher, died Monday night at a local hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the W. H. George Co.
Munro was born Dec 21, 1879, at Argyleshire, Scotland. He came to Montana in 1907 and was associated with J. B. Long until he moved to Canada. In 1915 he homesteaded 22 miles north of Great Falls and lived there until he retired and moved here six years ago.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Scotland and the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his widow, Margaret; two daughters, Mrs. Christina Neumeyer of Great Falls and Mrs. Myrtle Riehl of Floweree; a son, Richard Munro of Martin City; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
