Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Allnutt, 84, of Poolesville, died Friday, April 14, at her home.
She was the wife of the late Richard Walter Allnutt.
Born June 6, 1915, in Barnesville, she was a daughter of William Clifton and Emily Poole Darby Brown.
Mrs. Allnutt was a member of Poolesville Presbyterian Church, the Monocacy Homemakers, the Upper Montgomery County Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and a graduate of St. Mary's Female Seminary.
Surviving are one daughter, Sarah F. Hunter of Poolesville, one sister, Mary Shaw Williams of Poolesville; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Doyne Dorsett-Creaghan and Sarah Christine Dorsett; one niece; and numerous nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 16, at Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road (Md. 109), Barnesville, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 17.
Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Poolesville Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 68, Poolesville, Md. 20837.
