Eilene Linder, 71, Ray Co MO, died Monday, Jan. 18 2010, at her home. Mrs. Linder was born Jan. 29, 1938 in Monett, daughter of Carl F. and Norma C. (Hunke) Hemmerling. She was married to Orrin L. "Bud" Linder on April 2 1954; he preceded her in death on June 12, 1982. She was a private caregiver for the past nine years. She was a Lutheran. She had lived in Kansas City before moving to Ray County in 1992.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by brother Galen Hemmerling; and sister Maxine Donovan.

Survivors include two sons, Steven Linder, Lawson, and Timmie Linder, North Kansas City; three daughters, Diann Stolz, Lawson, Debbie Mathison, Independence, and Carolyn Totsch, Orrick; brother Norman Hemmerling, Lawson; two sisters, Dorothy Riley, Kearney, and Juanita Rahjes, North Kansas City; 15 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.

Graveside service: 2pm, Jan. 23, at East Slope Memorial Gardens in Riverside. Visitaton: 7-8pm Jan. 22, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Memorial contributions may be made to Ray County Hospice.
