BISCAYART, Marilyn Carol
Marilyn, who was a lifetime resident of Lancaster, was 49 years of age. She was born on November 18, 1960, and entered into the Kingdom of God on March 8, 2010. She attended local elementary schools and graduated from Antelope Valley High School. She is survived by two brothers; Paul Biscayart, and Larry Biscayart and his wife Conni, all of Quartz Hill; and three sisters; Christine Condon and her husband John, of Las Vegas, Nev., Kathleen Quick and her husband John, of Juniper Hills, Calif., and Jackie Maurer and her husband Willie, of Exeter, Calif. Marilyn was the youngest of 8 children; she was preceded in death by her parents, Henri and Ruth Biscayart, her brother, Dennis, and her sister, Evelyn. Though Marilyn had no children of her own, she was actively involved with her numerous nephews and nieces who dearly loved their "Auntie Marilyn" or "Aunt Lou." As time went on, her nieces and nephews had children, and Marilyn opened her heart to them also. We also cannot fail to mention Marilyns "Kiki" and "Missy", her devoted doggies who loved her and brought her much joy and companionship each day of her life. Marilyn was employed for the past 5 years as an underwriting assistant at Wilshire Insurance. She previously worked at Readmore Bookstore for 17 years until it closed its doors, many will fondly remember her as the "bookstore lady" who loved and enjoyed helping people find the books they were looking for. A viewing will be held from 3 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at Halley-Olsen-Murphy Memorial Chapel in Lancaster. Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Lancaster District Cemetery, following will be a celebration of Marilyn's life at 2 p.m., at the Desert Vineyard Christian Fellowship located at 1011 E. Avenue I in Lancaster.
