She was born May 6, 1938 in Cleveland County to Charles Ross and Essie Mae Jackson Williams.
Mrs. Addison was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church and was a homemaker throughout her life. She was a loving mother to all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to cook and take good care of her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James David Addison, Sr.; a son, Gary Darnell Addison; two sisters, Pearly Dorsey and Willie Mae Clemmons; a niece, she raised as a daughter, Chrystal Hopper and a daughter-in-law, Rita Addison.
