THE LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, 24 Aug 1989. 'Mabel Lee Sanders Bell Nash, 71, 827 S. Main, Apt. A8, died at 5 a.m. Wednesday, 16 Aug 1989, in McCuistion Medical Center. Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, 18 Aug, at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Lane Park and Dr. A.B. White officiating. Fry and Gibbs funeral Home made burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Nash was born 31 Dec 1917, in the Gadston community of Lamar County, a daughter of Oran D. and Ola Mae Randall Sanders. She attended Midway schools and married Kenneth M. Bell on 10 Oct 1935, in Paris. He died 30 Apr 1967. She married Carl W. Nash on 8 Oct 1969, in Grand Prairie. They returned to Paris in October 1970. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and had taught in its special education department since its beginning. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Billy Wayne and Cynthia Bell of Paris; one daughter, Kenna Lee Pharr of Paris; five grandchildren, Mrs. Mike (Jennifer) Craig, Jeffrey David Bell, Billy Wayne Bell Jr. and Gregory Wayne Bell, all of Paris; three great grandchildren; her mother, Ola Sanders of Paris; three sister, Christine Mashburn and Edna Dillard, both of Howland, and Linda Glenn of Daingerfield; two brothers, Tom Sanders and John Sanders, both of Paris; two stepchildren, Helen Ann Tally of Mesquite and Jerry Nash of Kemp; and five step grandchildren.'
