Funeral services for Albert Floyd Owen, 74, were held Wednesday afternoon in Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Jim Ratliff, pastor officiating, assisted by Rev. Paul Ganther, pastor of First Christian Church. He died at home November 18.
Owen was born April 20, 1911, in Bunger. He had lived in Olney since 1947. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy. He was a retired barber. He was a member of the First Christian Church, a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner.
Survivors include his wife, Marguerite; three daughters, Betty Langford and Joanne Wright, both of Olney and Barbara Hobbs of Tempe, Ariz.; one son, Bob Owen of Bovina; two sisters, Ethel Norman of Graham and Marie Steadham of Bunger; eight grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
