End Came to Wife of Widely Known Kansas Ranchman Yesterday
Mrs. Lisette J. Sherman, 61 years old, the wife of Merrett [sic] M. Sherman, a widely known Crawford, Kas., ranchman, died yesterday at the University Hospital. The body was taken to Salem, N. Y., last night for burial. Mrs. Sherman was prominent in the affairs of Kansas clubwomen. The Sherman ranch in Ellsworth County comprises 25,000 acres. Mrs. Sherman is survived by her husband, a son, Carl Sherman, of Crawford, and a daughter, Mrs. Charles Reinhimer. Mr. Sherman formerly was a regent of the state agricultural college. the family formerly lived at Salina, Kas.
