TURLOCK - Final rites will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Allen Mortuary for Burl Spurlock, 77, who died Wednesday evening in a local hospital after an extensive illness.
Interment will be in the Turlock Memorial Park.
A native of Arkansas, he had lived in Turlock since 1943.
He leaves his widow, Nola Spurlock of Turlock; a son, Shirley C. Spurlock of Hilmar; a daughter, Oma Marie Park of West Virginia; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
