Harley E. Boyer, 81, of Carthage died at 2:20 P.M. Saturday (Dec. 5, 1987) in University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City.
Mr. Boyer was born Aug. 28, 1906, the son of William S. and Addie M. Woodruff Boyer in Tazwell County near Pekin. He married Delma Rose Miller on Jan. 14, 1933 in Dallas City. He was a member of the Adrian Christian Church.
Survivors include one brother, Wilbert Boyer of Long Beach, Calif. and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Boyer was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and a brother and sister in infancy.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 P.M. today at Neiser Funeral Home in Carthage by the Rev. Charles Ferguson
Burial will be in Moss Ridge Cemetery in Carthage. A memorial fund has been established at Burnside Christian Church
