At the time of his death he was an Inventory Control Manager for the Lowell area C.E.T.A. program. He was a veteran of World War II, served with the US Navy, attached to the See Bees in the Pacific theater of operations. He was an active meber of Calvary Baptist Church of Lowell, and had served on many of it's boards and committes. He was a member of Ancient York Lodge, A.F.&A.M. of Lowell A 32nd degree Mason. He held membership in the Scottish Rites Bodies, locally, including Lowell Lodge of Perfection, Lowell Ldge Princes of Jerusalem, Mt. Calvary Chapter of Rose Croix and Massachusetts Consistory of Boston. He was a member of Littleton-Westford Lodge No. 1891, B.P.O.E. Westford Kiwanis Club and was a member of the Board of Trustees of Westford Academy Alumni.
