Mr. Jack Choate, 83, a resident of Shady Lawn Nursing Center in Cadiz, Ky., died Wednesday, January 9, 1991, at the Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville, Ky. after a long illness.
A native of Trigg County, born June 17, 1907, to the late Charley Choate and Ella Francis Choate, he was a member of the Baptist faith and was retired and had worked at the Hickory Mill in Cadiz, Ky.
Survivors include a brother, Jess Choate of Trigg County; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Belle Huddleston Choate who died October 7, 1975.
Funeral services were held at 1 pm Friday, January 11, 1991, at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. Irvin Darnall officiating. Burial was in the Milam Cemetery in Trigg County, Ky.
Pallbearers were Cecil Curtis, Donnie Curtis, Joe Lee Terrell, Gayle Terrell, Jimmy Williams, and Harvey Choate. Music was provided by Wayne Walker, soloist, and Clarissa King, pianist.
