Mrs. John W. Rodgers, 82, died early Wednesday in St. Joseph's Hospital after a week's illness.
The former Eula Mae Alexander, she was born November 23, 1885 in Belton. She was married to E. D. Douthit in 1914 in New Mexico. He died in 1932.
She and Mr. Rodgers were married January 11, 1945, and he preceded her in death September 23, 1958.
She had been a member of the Methodist Church sin early life.
Among Mrs. Rodgers' survivors are a step-son, John Wesley Rodgers of Dallas; three nieces: Mrs. Irene Brown of New Braunfels; Mrs. Maude Woods of Killeen; and Mrs. Thelma Morrissett of Lamesa; and a cousin, Mrs. Mary Gibbs of Borger.
