VICKERY MERCHANT PASSES AWAY—-W.R, Foster, a businessman of Vickery died at the home there Monday morning after a lingering illness over several months. He was born in Alabama, was 56 years old and had been living at Victory for the past 10 years where he was engaged in the general merchandising business, He is survived by three children, Miss Ruby who lived with him and his assistant in the business, son Arch of Newcastle and Mrs. Yarbro [sic] of Amarillo. The remains were carried to New Castle [sic], the former home of the Fosters and where the remains of Mrs. Foster who preceded him to that unknown world, rest, for interment. Rev. Scott of Fort Worth preached the funeral service at the cemetery. Friends from Vickery accompanied the remains.
