Mrs. Selma Rach, 70, 55 East Chicago Street, Kiel, widow of Leo Rach, died Monday at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan, were she had been a patient one week.
Selma Warnke was born December 20, 1903, in Kiel, daughter of the late Adolph and Minnie Backhaus Warnke. She attended Kiel Public Schools, and was married to Leo Rach on April 21, 1930. The couple lived all of their married lives in Kiel. Mrs. Rach was formerly employed at the Kiel Wooden Ware Company. Her husband died December 20, 1968.
A member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Mrs. Rach also belonged to the Kiel Royal Neighbors of America and the GUG Germania Society.
Survivors are one son of Kohler and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Reverend John F. Baumann officiating. Burial will be in Schleswig Cemetery, Rockville.
Friends may call at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, from 4:00 p.m. Wednesday until 11:00 a.m. Thursday and at the church from noon until time of the service. - 1974
