The many friends of Mrs. Carrie Atkinson were very much surprised Tuesday noon to hear the sad news of her sudden death. Mrs. Atkinson for some time has been insane but of late has been staying at her home one mile south of town. Monday evening she was taken very ill and grew worse from that time until Tuesday at 11 o'clock when she passed away. Mrs. Atkinson was formerly a resident of Hazel Green. She leaves a husband and two children to mourn her loss.
