Amil Frank Harseim’s parents lived in Granville, Putnam Co., Illinois at the time of his birth. One of his teachers changed the spelling of his last name from Harseim to Herseim. Amil Frank Harseim was raised in Saint Cloud, Stearns Co, Minnesota. He married Jessie Christine Sorensen, b. 25 Dec, 1904. Her parents were Frederick J. Sorensen and Caroline Petersen, and both were born in Denmark. Jessie was born in Hammond, Lake Co, Indiana. Her parents moved to Saint Cloud, MInnesota, where she grew up and met Amil F. Harseim. They were married in MInnesota and had two sons by 1930. At this time, they traveled by train to Great Falls, Cascade Co, Montana where they established residency. Amil Frank was by occupation a crane operator for the Great Northern Railroad and was employed at the roundhouse at the Great Falls, Montana train yards. He is buried in the Old Highland Cemetery, Cascade Co., Great Falls, Montana. Jessie Christine remarried on Nov 09, 1967 to a divorcee, Phillip Joseph O’Quinn, who was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Philip was a nurse from Alabama who worked at the hospital where Amil Frank died. After Jessie died, Philip moved to Birmingham, Alabama to be near his siblings. Jessie is buried in the New Highland Cemetery, Cascade Co, Great Falls, Montana. Amil Frank and Jessie had seven children, five boys and two girls. Philip and Jessie had no children.
