IRONTON -- Verner W. Chileen, 77, Ironton, died Monday, June 25, 2001, at his home.
He was born May 16, 1924, in Alberta, Canada, to John and Marie Chileen. He worked for the railroad for many years and then became a painter and worked with his brothers.
Survivors include a brother, Les Chileen, Crosby; two sisters, Gladys Cushman, Scottsville, N.Y., and Mildred Olson, Coleraine.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby with the Rev. Greg Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby.
Friends may call one hour before the services Monday at the funeral home.
