HOBBS, N.M. — Services for Billie C. Saxon, 78, of Clifton will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Griffin Funeral Home Chapel with Jeremy McCombs officiating.
Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home of Hobbs.
She died Wednesday, May 16, 2001.
She was born Dec. 5, 1922, in Bristow, Okla., and married Vinitus L. Saxon. He died in 1976. She later married Orvis O'Neal in 1982, and he died in 1995. She and her husband owned a welding shop in Waco, and she was an accomplished welder and a Seventh Day Adventist.
Survivors include a son, George of Clifton; a sister, Norma Wright of Hobbs; a brother, Ralph Morand of Helena, Mont.; and two grandchildren.
