Died at 9:35 p.m. Sunday at his home, Rt. 2, Amite. Age 67. Native and lifelong resident of Amite. Retired farmer and carpenter. Body at Brown Funeral Home, Amite, after 6 p.m. Monday. Religious services at Shiloh Church of Christ at 3 p.m. Tuesday. Burial in family cemetery. Survived by his wife, Mrs. Bertie Traylor White of Amite; five sons, Charles and Gardner, both of Hammond, Stanford of Ponchatoula, James of Amite and Earl White, U.S. Army, Savannah, Ga.; two daughters, Mrs. Harry LeBlanc, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Brenda Hayden, Amite; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Donaldson, New Orleans; two brothers, John White, Amite, and Therold White, Baton Rouge, and 20 grandchildren. He was a member of Church of Christ.
