Chris O. Larson Dies
Chris O. Larson, 86, 1625 Central Ave., died Sunday in a local hospital where he had been a patient four months. Funeral services will be in Our Savior's Lutheran Church Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Larson managed local real estate, including an apartment house and houses.
He was born Jan. 28, 1877, at Madison, Wis. He married Emelia at Fargo, N. D., Dec. 28, 1904, and farmed in the Red River Valley near Wahpeton, N. D., until 1910 when he moved to a homestead 16 miles northwest of Big Sandy. He operated that farm until he retired and moved to Great Falls in 1947.
Survivors include the widow, Emelia; three sons, Reynold and William, both of Big Sandy; Leonard Morton of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three daughters, Mrs. Celia Dodge, San Antonio, Texas, and Mrs. Luella Hjelm and Mrs. Dorothy Hunter, both of Great Falls; two sisters, Lena Larson, Seattle, Wash., and Mrs. Emma Anderson, Yakima, Wash.; 29 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
