LANE, Bobby Joe
Born on March 11, 1926 in Oklahoma. Returned to his beloved Heavenly father on October 9, 2009. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Joyce Lane, three sons, Larry, of San Jose, Johnny of Lancaster, and Eddie, Lancaster, five grandchildren, Steve, Sharmen, Evan, Clayton and Alyssa, two great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Steven. Bob and his family lived in Lancaster for 57 years and was a dedicated member of Lancaster Baptist Church for 20 years. Prior to his passing, he was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus and was on dialysis for the last few years. He was a loving, supportive and devoted husband. He was a proud and caring father, warm and adoring grandfather and honored Marine (World War II). Bob dedicated his life to the Lord and his family. Viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, October 16, 2009 at Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, Lancaster. A celebration of his life will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, October 17, 2009, at Lancaster Baptist Church.
