Clarea Lucille Walker Moorer was born 3 Feb. 1928 to Morgan and Effie Mae Alexander Waler... She graduated for Locust Grove High School in 1936...She was united in marriage to Woodrow Wilson Moorer on Dec 4, 1938 in Moore, Oklahoma...They made their home in Oklahoma City and to this unon seven children were born...The family moved back to Silvercroos Alabama in 1941.. Clara and Woodrow were divorced in 1950, she and the kids moved bace to Oklahoma City and lived there for some time before moving back to Alabama...Clara was employed in the food service industry and retired in 1988..After her retirement she was very devoted to her church..Clara lost her home during a hurricane in 2004..so she moved to Mutual to be with her daughter and remained here since that time...Clara was a member of the Sure Foundation Church of God..She loved her grandchildren and loved checking calves with her son-in-law. She was a very giving person who always put others before herself...
She is survived by her children, 20 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends...She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one son...Burial was in Mutual Persimmon Cemetery, with arrangements by Billings Funeral Home.
