JOHN C. KOESER SR.

John C. Koeser Sr., 81, of 13125 Steinthal Road, Town of Schleswig, Route 2, Kiel, died this morning at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton, where he had been a patient for the past month.

Born, Nov. 25, 1899, in the Town of Schleswig, he was a son of the late Louis and Caroline Diebner Koeser. He attended district schools in the Town of Schleswig and married the former Anna Gabritsch Aug. 28, 1926, in the Town of Newton. The couple resided in Plymouth before moving to the Town of Schleswig.

He was employed at the MB Corp., New Holstein; Stoelting Bros. Co. and the A.A. Laun Furniture Co., Kiel, until retiring in 1961. Also, he was a salesman for a seed company after his retirement.

Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Lorena) Hildebrand, Sheboygan; Mrs. Norma Brocker, Kiel, two sons, John J., Sheboygan and Merlyn of Rural Elkhart Lake, and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, one grandson, five brothers and three sisters.
