Albert E. Henschel, 82, of Rockville, died this morning at St. Joseph Community Hospital in West Bend. He had been in ill health for the past several months. Mr. Henschel was born Aug. 4, 1899, in the town of Centerville, son of Charles and Alvina Brandt Henschel. He attended school in the Town of Meeme, and also attended Mission House College.
He married the former Edna Dedering on March 26, 1927. The couple were married in Kiel, where they resided for four years before moving to Rockville. Mrs. Henschel died in 1960. Mr. Henschel was employed as a route man for Grasse Bros. Oil Co. until his retirement in 1966. He was a member of St. Peter United Church of Christ in Kiel, the brotherhood of the church, the Senior Social group of the church, and the Kiel Senior Citizens.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Arnold (Beverly J.) Vogel of Big Cedar Lake; a son, Harold of Route 1, Cleveland; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Kramer of Kiel, Mrs. Evelyn Ebeling of Howards Grove, Mrs. Hilda Stock of Newton, and Mrs. Irene Grohskoph of Kiel; and a brother, E.mer of Manitowoc. He was preceded in death by a son, two brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at St. Peter UCC in Kiel. The Rev. John Baumann, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Schleswig Cemetery in Rockville.
