Mrs. Wilhelmina Hansmann, 85, of 1128 Sixth St., Kiel, died at her home Thursday evening following an illness of one month. The former Wilhelmina Kasten, she was born in the town of Schleswig, April 13, 1869, a daughter of the late David and Fredericka Kasten. She was married to Mr. Hansmann, of the town of Schleswig June 26, 1887. Following marriage the couple located on a farm in the town of Reseburg, Clark County, for 26 years. They then returned to this area operating a farm in the town of Rhine for 13 years until retiring and moving into Kiel in May, 1927. Mr. Hansmann died in November, 1934.
Only survivor is a daughter, Mrs. Edwin (Anna) Weiskopf of Kiel, with whom Mrs. Hansmann had been making her home. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Alfred, in 1932, and a sister.
Services will be held at St. Peter Evangelical and Reformed Church, Kiel, with the Rev. E. L. Worthman, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Rockville cemetery.
