Funeral of Joseph Pothier
The funeral of Joseph Pothier of Tine Tree Inn, Bridge street; who died at the Dickinson hospital Monday, was held from the Reynolds funeral home this morning, followed by a solemn high Mass of requiem at the Sacred Heart church, Rev. Fr. Leroy Leroux, pastor, being celebrant. Deacon was Rev. Fr. Eugene Ozimek, assistant pastor of St. John Cantius' church, and sub-deacon was Rev. Fr. Norman Ricard, assistant. pastor of Notre Dame church, Easthampton. Bearers were Wilfred .Menard and Romeo Fournier of this city, Earle Peavey, Edward Chagnoil. and Homer Greenwood,. all of Leeds, and Herman Ritter of Bay State. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery, Haydenville, Rev. Fr. Leroux offering up the prayers at the grave.
