Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Bobby, a native of Port Lavaca, Texas, was the son of the late Jim Bob Pagitt and Fannie Irene Murray Pagitt of Lafayette, LA.
Bobby had resided in Lafayette for the past 36 years and had been an employee of Exxon for the past 24 years.
Survivors include his his mother, Fannie Pagitt; wife, Terri; one son Bobby Gene Pagitt Jr.; two daughters, Jennifer Ann Pagitt and Stephanie Kay Pagitt, both of Lafayette; one brother, Donald "Donnie" Pagitt and his son Connor Pagitt of Lafayette; two sisters Mrs. Damon (Scherry) Benoit of Lake Charles and Mrs. Mike (Tannia) Fournet of Lafayette and their two children, Tim and Angela Fournet; his two grandmothers Ruby Murray of Tennessee Colony, TX and Lula Pagitt of Athens,TX.
Bobby was preceeded in death by his father, Jim Bob Pagitt; his paternal grandfather, Stafford Houston Pagitt; and his maternal grandfather, James Claude Murray.
