Earnest Lynn Moore, 44, of Braxton, Miss., passed away at his residence Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010. Religious services were held Saturday, Feb. 20, at New Zion Baptist Church, Braxton. The Rev. Roger Lee officiated the service, and Tutor Funeral Home of Mendenhall handled all arrangements.
Earnest was born in New Orleans, on Oct. 27, 1965, a son of the late Shirley (Keeter) Smith and James Moore.
He is survived by: his father, James Moore, Byhalia, Miss; son, Kevin Moore, Ohio; stepparents, Jimmy and Sharon Smith, Braxton; three sisters, Jessica Moore and Melissa Moore, both of Tallulah, La.; and Tammy McGowan (Jimmy Dean), Florence.
