MRS. MATILDA MARY ZAX, 49, died at 11:25 a.m. Tuesday at her home, 1219 Keswick Boulevard. Survivors are her husband, Henry E. Zax; two sons, Henry E. Zax, Jr. and Kenneth C. Zax, both in the U. S. Navy and five sisters, Mrs. Charles Peak, Mrs. August Dietz, Mrs. William Logsdon, Mrs. C. D. Cordy and Mrs. L. J. Willnitz, Racine, Wis. Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Friday at Russman's Chapel and at 9 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery.

Zax, Jr., Ph.M., 1-C, Bay City, Mich., and Kenneth C. Zax, Rd. M., 2-C, in the Pacific; sister of Mrs. Charles R. Peak, Mrs. August J. Dietz, Mrs. William Logsdon, Mrs. L. J. Wellnitz of Racine Wisconsin, Mrs. C. B. Cordy. Remains will be in state at the Godfrey F. Russman Mortuary, 1041 Goss Ave. Funeral Friday morning at 8:30 o'clock from the chapel and 9 o'clock at St. Elizabeth Church. Interment St. Michael Cemetery. The St. Ann Sodality will meet at the chapel Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock to recite the Rosary.
