Dr. F.V. McKnight, 58, prominent physician of Aspermont, died at an early hour Wednesday morning from injuries received when his Chrysler coupe turned over and telescoped on Highway No. 18, six miles east of Aspermont. The Physician was on his way to Old Glory to make a professional call when the accident occurred having left Aspermont about 8:30 or 9:00 p.m. The wrecked car was found by Hub McCannon of Aspermont, about 11 p.m. Dr. McKnight was carried to Aspermont by R.W. Newman, Brief examination by Dr. Wylie of Aspermont revealed that he be taken to the sanitarium. J.B. Evans, Aspermont druggist hurried to Stamford. Upon arrival at the sanitarium, Dr. Hudson made an examination and pronounced McKnight dead.
Dr. McKnight moved to Aspermont six years ago from Alba. Survived by a wife, and one son. The son lives in Alba.Dr. McKnight’s body was taken to Penick-Hughes for preparation and the body was shipped to Alba for interment.The Stamford AmericanFriday, November 29, 1929Vol. 6, Number 33
