Leoncio R. Anciso, 69, beloved son, brother, father and grandfather, was called home to heaven on Feb. 26, 2010 in Phoenix, Ariz.
He was born March 19, 1940 to Manuel and Augustina Anciso in Mercedes, Texas.
He came from Texas to Ripley, Calif. with his family when he was a teenager.
He worked for many farms around the valley, including Robinson Farms. He was a kind, funny and generous man. He always liked to have fun but he also always worried about his family.
He will be greatly missed and his family will carry him deep in their hearts. Please don't cry because he will be dancing in heaven.
He is survived by his mother, Augustina Anciso; his brothers, Ismael Anciso of Ripley and Antonio Anciso of Blythe; his sister, Maria (Herbert) Sanchez of Whittier, Calif; his four daughters, Olivia, Christina, Teresa and Sonia Anciso, all of Blythe; 20 grandchildren and various great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be March 4, 2010 from 4-8 p.m. at Frye Chapel & Mortuary, with Rosary beginning at 7 p.m.
Burial services will be held March 5, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Palo Verde Cemetery.
