Sarah C. Lang was born August 27, 1845 in Davis co., Iowa, just west of Bloomfield. Died February 15, 1922 at her home just south of Floris, age 76 years, 5 months, 18 days.
On Janury 28, 1872 she married to Samuel Strickland. She continued in the Christian faith until called home.
She was a kind, loving mother and companion and was highly esteemed by her friends and neighbors. Through she is gone her good influence will live to strengthen those who ar left behind, and through our hearts are bowed down with sorrow we know that the Father doeth all things well and He alone can comfort in a time like this.
