Martin Hinrichs 1893-1967

Martin Christ Hinrichs of Dudley Township, died suddenly at his home on Monday, July 10, at the age of 75 years.
Born in Crow Wing County on January 13, 1893, he was married to Miss Lena Grace on September 10, 1913, at Fairmont, Minnesota. They went to Iowa for a year and then to South Dakota for a time and then came to Clearwater County in 1921.
Survivors include his wife and the following children: son, Deidrick of Shevlin, and four daughters: Lucinda (Mrs. Erwin Nelson) of Pinewood; Ellen (Mrs. Glen Trisco) of Milwaukee; Dorothy (Mrs. Louis Sather) of Shevlin; Elenora (Mrs. Hank Hanson) of Shevlin. Also a sister, Mrs. Olga Spier of Rochester, Minnesota, and brothers William of Minneapolis; Carl of St. Paul; Elmer of Los Angeles, California; and Paul of Oregon; and a number of nieces and nephews, 22 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at 2 p.m. at the Clearwater Lutheran Church at Shevlin with the Rev. V. Michael Pease officiating. Burial will be made in the church cemetery under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home.
