Ed Lincoln, 86, of Depauw, died of natural causes last Wednesday, 3 p.m. while walking near home. He was a retired employee of the Southern Railway System and a Harrison County native. He was the widower of Eva Mullin Lincoln. He was the son of the late Warden and Rachel Herbaugh Lincoln.
Survivors are two sons, Wesley Lincoln... and Chester Lincoln...; three daughters, Mrs. Eileen Spitnagle..., Mrs. Bernice Gurtz, and Mrs. Lovene Bocard...; 18 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and three great, great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Nelson Lincoln, Bob Lincoln, Mike Lincoln, Melvin Bary, Charles Spitznagle, and Randell Bocard.
The funeral was held Friday, 2 p.m. at Swarens Funeral Home, Ramsey, with the Rev. Fred Carpenter officiating. Mrs. Virginia Carr was organist. Burial was in Milltown Cemetery.
