Frederick Bush

Frederick Wayne Bush, 47, of Carson City, formerly of St. Louis, died Oct. 20, 1996, at Gratiot Community Hospital. He was born Feb. 12, 1949, in Alma, to Frederick G. and Jean “Hall” Bush.

He had lived in St. Louis most of his life before moving to Carson City eight years ago. He worked as an Asbestos Engineer. He was a member of the Asbestos Workers Union Local 47 of Lansing, serving as President of the Apprentice Committee, and working on the Pension and Welfare Committee. He was also on the Building Trades Committee for the Sate of Michigan and an instructor at Lansing Community College. One of his many loves in life was woodworking.

He is survived by daughter, Heidi and Ted Peasley of Vestaburg; daughter, Jodie and Jim Hunt of Laughlin, Nevada; son, Cory Lehner of Carson City, daughter, Kelly Lehner of Carson City; special friend, Becky Curtis of Carson City; mother, Jean Bush of St. Louis; sister, Rachel and Tim Musselman of St. Louis; brother, Ken Bush of St. Louis; sister, Mary Bush of Carson City; and brother, James Bush of Alma. He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick G. Bush in 1974.

Funeral services will be held today (Oct. 24), at 11 am, at the Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home in Carson City, with Minister Keith Wise of the St. Louis Church of Christ officiating. Graveside Committal Service will be at 1pm, at Oakgrove Cemetery, St. Louis. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
