A funeral service for Mary Jean Pinkston, 64, of Nacogdoches will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, Nacogdoches, Texas. Interment will be at Simpson Campground Cemetery in Woden, Texas. Ms. Pinkston died March 7, 2010, in Woden, Texas. Mary Jean Pinkston was born the daughter of J.B. Chisum and Versie Lou Skillern, November 27, 1945, in Nacogdoches County. Ms. Pinkston was a member of Woden Church of Christ. Mary was always working and enjoyed vacationing when possible. She was a graduate of Woden High School. She worked for Parker Hannifan for 20 years, and she was a loving and caring mother. Mary is survived by daughter, Shelley Hannah and husband, Brian, of Nacogdoches; son, Cody Pinkston and his girlfriend, Kristina Spinks, both of Woden; granddaughter, Grace Hannah of Nacogdoches; step-granddaughter, Mackenzie Hannah of Mount Enterprise; sisters, Betty Harvey and husband, Sammy, and sister, Elizabeth Pierson, both of Woden; nephews, Mark Harvey and Philip Harvey, both of Nacogdoches; nieces, Melinda Hambrick of Woden and Vicki Whisenant of Central. Ms. Pinkston is preceded in death by her parents; J.B. and Versie Lou "Polly" Chisum. Memorial donations can be made to American Cancer Society at 212 Gene Samford, Lufkin, Texas 75904. Visitation with Ms. Pinkston's family will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, at the funeral home.
