John C English died this morning at 2 o'clock at his home in Snyder Hill of heart trouble and old age. He was 83 years old. Mr English, who had been a prosperous farmer all his life, was born in the town of Dryden. He had always lived within a radius of a few miles of the place where he died, and had resided in the home in which he died for the past 50 years.
He leaves a widow and several children. The funeral will be held on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Snyder Hill Baptist church. The body will be laid at rest in the Snyder Hill Cemetery close by the church.
