CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Albert G. Derita, 73, died May 16, 2009.

Mr. Derita was born in Akron and was a longtime resident of Cuyahoga Falls. He retired from Goodyear Aerospace and was a member of LOOM Modagore lodge 587.

Preceded in death by his wife, Nina M Sprouse; he is survived by his step-daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Ron Cote; step-son and daughter-in-law, Harley and Theresa Prunty, all of Akron; grandchildren, John (Patty) May and Jennifer (Robert) Zimmerman; great-wgrandchildren, Kyle Myers and Ariel and Logan May; brothers, Geno (Elsie) Derita, Billy (Donna) Derita and Mickey (Bonnie) Derita; sister, Betty Bowman and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls. Pastor Fred Webb officiating. Friends may call for one hour prior to service time. Interment Northlawn Memorial Gardens.
