MOYERS---DALTHARD THOMAS, 56, a former resident of Apison, Tenn., died in the Veterans Hospital at Miami, Fla., Sunday night. Mr. Moyers was a veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Swisher's Chapel Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. June Stevens Moyers, Miami; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas E. Stevenson, Chattanooga, and Mrs. J. P. Ramsey, Signal Mountain, Tenn.; son, William H. Moyers, Chattanooga; five sisters, Mrs. Lee Joiner, Mrs. Handy White and Mrs. Chap Hall, Apison, Tenn.; Mrs. J. S. Storey, Chattanooga, and Mrs. Mattie Ackers, Nashville, Tenn.; three brothers, Clarence Moyers, Chattanooga, Robert Moyers, South Carolina, and Clyde Moyers, U.S. Army, and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 o'clock Friday morning at the chapel of J. Avery Bryan Co., Rev. Charles Holliday officiating. Interment will be in Plowman Cemetery, Apison, Tenn. The body will arrive in Chattanooga at 10 o'clock Wednesday night and will be taken to the funeral home of J. Avery Bryan Co.
