Sara J. Barnet, 84, of Box 191, Hollidaysburg RD 3, formerly of Altoona, died at 5:05 a.m. today, Dec. 23, 1980, in Altoona Hospital, after an extended illness.

Mrs. Barnet was employed by the Holly Dress Shop. She was born Nov. 4, 1896, in Johnstown, the daughter of Henry and Jennie (Mock) Snyder, and Dec. 11, 1912 married Arthur Barnet who died in 1972.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Thelma Shaner of Altoona, Mrs. Ila Delauter of Cocoa, FL., and Mrs. LeEtta Beatty of Hollidaysburg RD 3; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Barnet was a member of the Twenty-Eighth Street Church of the Brethren.


Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Plank and Stitt Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg.

BARNET - Services for Sara J. Barnet of Box 191, Hllidaysburg RD 3, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Plank & Stitt Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg. Interment in Carson Valley Cemetery. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. There will be no viewing Christmas Day.
