OSAGE, IOWA —Funeral rites will, be Sunday at 3 p. m. at the Osage Lutheran church for Mrs. Anna Goplerud, 84, longtime Mitchell County resident, who died Friday at Osage; burial in Osage Cemetery.

Born January 21, 1867, as Anna Hundeby, to Gunerius and Berthia Hundeby in Worth County; she attended Decorah and St. Ansgar seminaries prior to teaching briefly, then married to Christopher Goplerud March 7, 1891.

They established first home on parental Christopher Goplerud farm and with exception of two years in Worth County, farming, couple lived west of Osage in Rock Township, and in Osage.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1936 and since that time has resided with children, living the last years with Mrs, Alex Turnmire.

She leaves two sons, C. G. Goplerud, St. Ansgar, and Gerhard, Osage; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two half brothers, Theophilius Haugen, St. Cloud, Minnesota, and Clarence Haugen, Princeton, Minnesota; two sisters: Mrs. Lester Pixley, Crosby, North Dakota, and Mrs. Minda Turvold, Northwood; a son, John, was killed in an automobile accident.
