INFECTION AFTER BURN RESULTS IN DEATH OF CHILD
Dale Cook, 2, Burned More than a Week Ago; Dies Sunday Morning
Two Sisters Survive

An infection of the right arm, resulting from a burn on the thumb, caused the death of Dale Cook, 2 years old, at 9:40 o'clock Sunday morning at Wichita Hospital.The child received the burn more than a week ago at the home of his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Isreal U. Cook, 1502 East Lewis street. He was removed to the hospital Thursday, after the infectious growth had set in. An older sister and a younger sister survive, in addition to the father and mother. The body was removed to the Gill Funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held from Gill Brother's chapel at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon for Dale Cook, 20 month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Isreal U. Cook, 1502 East Lewis avenue, who died of blood poisoning Sunday morning at Wichita hospital. Burial will be in Kechi cemetery. The boy is survived besides his parents, by two sisters, Mildred and Betty Cook.
