Peacefully at Brockville General Hospital with her family by her side on Monday January 12, 2009. Madeline Hanna of Portland, in her 96th year. Widow of Cedric Baxter. Dear Mother of Beryl and her husband Russell Kelly, Barbara and her husband Alex McWhirter all of Portland. Fondly remembered by granddaughter, Judy (Glenn) Rogers, great-grandchildren, David (Tanya) Rogers, Crystal Kelly (Mike), Jeff (Amanda) Kelly, and great-great-grandchildren, Allison, Haley, Nicholas and Melissa. Predeceased by 11 sisters and brothers as well as grandson, Richard Kelly. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, with special recognition to Gary Hanna of Maple View Lodge, Athens. A Graveside Service will be held at Portland United Church Cemetery in the Spring of 2009. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to Portland United Church Cemetery or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
