Mary Jo Clark, age 79, passed away on March 4 to join her husband Bill "in a better place."
Mary Jo was a native of Oklahoma City. She traveled to all fifty states with her husband both for business and pleasure. She spent her life in the service of the Lord and was a member of Resurrection Free Methodist Church of Oklahoma City.
She was a mother who loved and believed in her children and provided life-long support to them. She will certainly be missed by those whose lives she touched through her many decades on earth.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Edith Clapper, father, Chelsea Clapper, brother Donald Clapper, grandson, Keith Clark and most recently her beloved husband Bill in July of 2008.
Mary Jo is survived by her son, Cliff Clark of St. Paul, MN and his wife Karen also of St. Paul. She is also survived by her daughter, Kathy Smith of Moore, OK and her husband Bob also of Moore. Other surviving family members include granddaughter, Michelle Lassak and husband Marshall of Charleston, IL, granddaughter Maggie Clark of St. Paul, MN, great grandson Taylor Clark of Moore, OK, great grandson Tanner Lassak of Charleston, IL and great granddaughter Haylee Lassak also of Charleston, IL, brother Russ Clapper of Anahuac, TX and sister Dorothy Mabry of OKC.
Funeral services Wednesday, March 10 at Resurrection Free Methodist Church located in Warr Acres. Oklahoma City, OK.
