Vola L. Hawk, 93, of Poplar Springs Road, died Sunday afternoon at Takoma Adventist Hospital.

Wife of Seldon Clay Hawk, who died in 1964.

She was a daughter of the late C.D. and Betty Smith Clowers and was preceded in death by her son, William D. "Gube" Hawk; one sister: Theresa Inscore; and two brothers: Estel Clowers and Homer Clowers.

Grandchildren and special grandchildren-in-law: Dee Dee and Jake Gibbs and Randy and Kim Hawk, four great-grandchildren: Joe Gibbs, Monica Gibbs, Tallie Hawk, and Nikki Hawk; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Melvin and Selma Clowers and J.T. and Ina Ruth Clowers, and two sisters and a brother-in-law: Faye Colyer and Emedine and Gail Colyer, and several nieces and nephews.
