Robert S. LeBaron, 59, succumbed in the Gregg County hospital, Longview, Texas, September 8 [sic 1], and was buried September 10 [sic 3] in the Kilgore Cemetery.

A former resident of Winnfield, Mr. LeBaron leaves two brothers, Frank LeBaron, Verda, and Theo LeBaron, Monroe; one daughter, Mrs. L. H. Long, Odessa, Texas; two sons, E. H. of Lufkin, and Roy of Puerto Rico.

Mr. LeBaron's daughter and sons at one time made their home in Winnfield with their aunt, Mrs. Cora Fitch. Mrs. Fitch attended last rites for Mr. LeBaron.

Gravesite Details

Mr. LeBaron's grave marker gives his birth year as 1887. However, both his death certificate and WWI draft registration card give it as 1886, in agreement with his obituary which states that he was 59.
