For Cmdr. Roach
A full military funeral for Cmdr. James Thomas Roach, U.S. Navy (ret.) and native of Fredericksburg, was held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Arlington National Cemetery.
Cmdr. Roach, who enlisted in the Navy at the age of 16 and retired at 60, died Sunday at his home in St. Petersburg, Fla. at the age of 81.
