COL. FRANK STONE WAS NATIVE OF VILLAGE, POST COMMANDER

Col. Frank Stone, post commander of Ft. Benjamin Harrison, Indianapolis, Ind., died Saturday in that city of an apparent heart attack.

Col. Stone was born in North Fond du Lac, the son of Ellery and Anna Dauterman Stone. He attended school in North Fond du Lac, was graduated from Goodrich High School and attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Survivors include his widow; one son, two daughters, one sister and two aunts, Mrs. Laura Toland, Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Olive Luther, Waupaca.

Burial will be in Arlington national Cemetery, Washington, D.C.
