87-year-old Burley resident, died Sunday, May 13, 2001, at the Minidoka Memorial Hospital Extended Care Facility in Rupert. She was born May 20, 1913, in Odessa, Russia, the daughter of Anton and Catherine Ell Axtman. She married Anthony W. Victoria on Feb. 14, 1974, in Carson City, Nev. Madeline retired in 1974, and enjoyed crocheting and reading. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2001, at the Payne Memorial Chapel, 221 W. Main St. in Burley with the Rev. Al Trachsel officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date at the Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va. Friends may call at the Payne Mortuary on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and from 1-1:45 p.m. prior to the funeral on Thursday. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 1111 S. Orchard, Suite 200, Boise, ID 83705.
